August 13, 2026 — One Small Prompt, the patient business-building workshop created by Adam Ferree, is now available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It begins with two honest choices—“I have an idea.” or “I’ve got nothing.”—then helps a person work through direction, offer, name, brand, website, and launch decisions in order.
The standalone app runs on-device without an account, advertising, analytics, tracking, an AI-provider call, or an in-app purchase. Workshop drafts remain separate from the browser workshop and from any managed customer project. Apple or device-management backup and restore may include local app data, depending on the user’s settings.
A workshop, not a slot machine
One Small Prompt is designed around judgment instead of instant-generation theater. It asks for constraints, presents contrasting directions, and gives the user room to revise. Current app chapters cover:
- Understand: practical constraints, useful clues, audience, and what already exists.
- Shape: distinct business directions, offers, tradeoffs, and a plausible first customer.
- Name and brand: naming territories, candidates, voice, color, type, imagery, and marks.
- Website and launch: a complete private website plan and a considered path forward.
The planning experience is available at no charge. Execution is a paid service.
The app, browser workshop, and focused browser tools can be used without payment. They help someone think through the business and preview what its website could become; they do not publish, host, connect a domain, or contact customers.
For people who approve the direction and want One Small Prompt to operate the website, the company offers one separate $39/month managed website service, purchased through Stripe on the website. It includes one managed website of up to 10 pages, hosting, HTTPS, backups, contact and inquiry links, 5 GB of storage, a metered monthly editing allowance, and an eligible standard domain within the published plan limits or connection of a domain the customer already owns. There is no setup fee and no automatic overage charge.
The distinction is deliberate: anyone can use the workshop to make better decisions. Ongoing hosting, publishing, and managed changes are the operating service.
Built small, released in public
Ferree built One Small Prompt as a deliberately light project with a large goal: give a person at the uncertain beginning a patient place to make the whole thing coherent. The product is being released with current interface evidence, clearly fictional demonstration data, and no claims about customers, demand, income, validation, or guaranteed outcomes.

About One Small Prompt
One Small Prompt is a private iPhone, iPad, and browser workshop for turning an uncertain beginning into a considered business and website plan. People start with “I have an idea.” or “I’ve got nothing.”, then work through direction, offer, name, brand, website, and launch decisions. The workshop experiences are available at no charge and do not publish automatically. A separate $39/month managed website service handles live hosting, publishing, and ongoing changes for customers who choose it.
