The editor can create periodic checkpoints before substantial work. You can also create a manual checkpoint and restore a previous one from the project console.
Checkpoints make website iteration safer, but they are not a substitute for records you are legally required to keep. If the private editor itself is unavailable or a restore does not resolve the issue, contact support with the website address.
