This page exists to answer, precisely, the question people ask us most: what actually happens? No metaphors first; mechanics first.
The sixty seconds after checkout
- You pick a plan and an address — a free subdomain, a domain you already own, or (on annual plans) a .com we register for you, included in the plan price.
- Payment clears. Stripe never charges more than the listed plan price.
- An automated provisioner creates your own isolated slice of a real Linux server: your own user account, your own web server pool, your own private storage that only your slice can read.
- Your address is wired up with HTTPS.
- Your AI engineer comes aboard, and you get an email with your site and your Flight Deck — the console where you talk to it.
- From "pay" to "live" is about a minute.
What the engineer is
A frontier-grade managed AI with working access to your slice — your crew, not a general chatbot. It only works on your site. You type plain English into the Flight Deck; it does the work and replies when it is done. Real requests it handles:
- "Build a landing page for my mobile grooming service — warm, mobile-first, with a booking request form."
- "Save form submissions somewhere private and show me today's."
- "Change Saturday hours to 9–1 and add a holiday notice."
- "Something looks broken on phones — find it and fix it."
It builds pages, forms that capture leads into private storage, galleries, price lists; it edits, fixes, and (on bigger plans) runs scheduled jobs. It verifies its own work on the live site and tells you what it did.
What each plan includes
| Plan | Price | Address | Engineer allowance | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spark | $9/month | free subdomain or bring your own domain | 1× monthly allowance | cancel anytime |
| Capsule | $149/year | .com registered for you, included — or bring your own | 2× | parkable all year |
| Builder | $399/year | same as Capsule | 10× | checkpoints/rewind, one-click skills |
| Studio | $999/year | same as Capsule | 25× | specialist modes, scheduled work |
Notes worth knowing before you buy, not after:
- Spark cannot buy a domain. If you want a .com registered for you, that is Capsule — the registration is included in the $149, not an add-on.
- The allowance is your engineer's monthly working budget, shown as a percentage in your console. If you use it up, your site keeps running exactly as-is; the engineer rests until the 1st. Nothing goes offline.
- Leaving is built in. Cancel anytime to stop renewal. Every plan includes a one-click export of your whole project, packaged so any web professional can host it anywhere. Your content and data are yours.
- Bring-your-own domains connect with one DNS record — instructions here.
Try it before any of that
The free demo is the product compressed into a minute: call the Machine or talk to it in your browser, describe a business idea in two sentences, and watch it put a real page on a real address while you wait. Demo sites are honest about what they are and self-destruct after 72 hours; making one permanent is one checkout.
